We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join our team at our Stoke-on-Trent site.

The Role

As a Production Operative, you will play an important part in our day-to-day operations, supporting the efficient production of high-quality products.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating machinery and equipment safely and effectively
  • Assembling and packing products
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure standards are met
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working as part of a team to meet production targets

About You

Previous manufacturing or production experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:50

Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Description

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products, supporting the implementation of quality control systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all manufacturing processes meet regulatory, industry, and customer standards.

• Support the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures, standards, and protocols.
• Perform inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ensuring all activities align with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues, using tools such as 8D, CAPA, and Five Whys
• Assist with customer quality inquiries, complaints, and feedback, providing timely resolutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure materials meet required quality standards, conducting inspections and audits as necessary.
• Prepare quality reports, test results, and analysis for senior management, providing updates on quality trends and performance.
• Support audits and inspections from internal or external parties, ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards

Key Skills and Experience

• HNC/HND/bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant quality assurance or engineering certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a production, quality assurance or quality engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing or regulated industry (automotive, aerospace, defence).
• Hands-on experience or knowledge with quality control methodologies and tools, including root cause analysis, CAPA, and process optimisation.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100 is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D, CAPA, Six Sigma, SPC, and statistical analysis.
