The four Alpha 3 Manufacturing divisions; CTL Manufacturing, CCS Electronics, DEM Manufacturing and Tekdata Interconnections, all organised fundraising events hoping to make a contribution to charities which offer vital assistance to disadvantaged children and their families.
CTL Manufacturing annually select a different local childrenās charity to support and in 2015, employees chose James Hopkins Trust which helps severely disabled, life threatened and life limited children in Gloucestershire. By arranging a casual dress day, a cake sale (The most popular event!) and more, CTL Manufacturing was able to donate a fantastic Ā£1000 to the vital charity.
DEM Manufacturing in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, chose to organise a book sale for charity. Employees brought unwanted books into work for others to buy for a small donation, which raised just over £100 for BBC Children in Need, last autumn.
A generous £350 was also presented to local hospices in Cheshire and Stoke, plus ITV Text Santa, from the CCS Electronics and Tekdata Interconnections sites, both of which had held a Christmas jumper day during December.
Alpha 3 Manufacturing would like to thank employees at all sites who donated and organised the fundraising events. We hope to raise even more money in 2016 to support more charities that undertake crucial work to support those in need.
