The fundraising commenced when Alpha 3 Manufacturing held a Summer BBQ to celebrate its 10th Anniversary during August. The evening included a raffle that raised £300 before employees enjoyed a delicious buffet and danced the night away.
During October, employee Dave Brandi, undertook the Yorkshire Marathon and raised a fantastic £553 for the charity.
After completing the marathon, in 4 hours, 21 minutes and 26 seconds, Dave Brandi commented: “Running has been a hobby of mine in recent years and I have been eager to undertake the Yorkshire Marathon for some time. The race itself was strenuous and tiring but I was determined to complete it to raise money for the vital service that Lindsey Lodge Hospice offers.”
Lastly, Christmas is never complete until you’ve seen a festive jumper or two; on 12th December, employees donned festive wear and made a small donation each towards the funds for Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
Alpha 3 Manufacturing is delighted to be supporting not just a local charity, but a charity which puts patients at the heart of everything they do to provide the best personalised care possible for those with life-limiting illnesses.
Lindsey Lodge Hospice Corporate Fundraiser Andy Hirst said: “Thank you to the Alpha 3 Manufacturing team for all their fundraising efforts,we really appreciate their support!
“We’ve been celebrating delivering 25th years of care this year, so 2017 has been a landmark year for both organisations, and we’d like to congratulate them on their 10th Anniversary.
“As an independent charity we rely on the generous donations from individuals and organisations to enable us to continue to offer our specialist palliative care free of charge to patients and families in North Lincolnshire.”
