The four UK sites which make up Alpha 3 Manufacturing, have been busy raising money for multiple charities this festive season.

Scunthorpe site, DEM Manufacturing, have taken part in the Scunthorpe Baptist Church foodbank to help local people in crisis. We donated tins and packets of food, and also took part in a Christmas jumper day, each making a small donation to go towards the Baptist Church foodbank. The Church opened their foodbank in 2010, and by 2016 had given over 3000 people in crisis three-day emergency food supplies; they aim to make sure that no one in our local community has to go hungry.
Staff from Tekdata Interconnections have donated items towards Christmas hampers and taken part in a Christmas jumper day, collecting donations for Cancer Research UK and Bransby Horses Rescue and Welfare. Bransby Horses was founded in 1968 and is dedicated to improving the lives of horses, donkeys and mules. Cancer Research in 2017/18 spent a total of £652 million using money raised plus extra money gained through investments, helping to beat cancer sooner. On behalf of Alpha 3 Manufacturing, Tekdata Interconnections are extremely glad they can help fund such worthy charities.
CTL Manufacturing have also been doing their part for charity, raising an amazing £750 for The James Hopkins Trust, who provide care for babies and children up to the age of five who have a life limiting or life threatening condition while supporting their families. They currently support over 90 children in Gloucestershire, and have overall helped more than 500 children and their families
Employees Carole Wright, Natalie Fritchley, Rachel Auty, and Laura Taylor at CTL Manufacturing visited The James Hopkins Trust to deliver the cheque. Rachel Auty, Human Resources Manager, commented “We were shown around The James Hopkins Trust and met some wonderful inspirational children! The Trust does absolutely magnificent work and gets no government funding at all, relying solely on volunteers to do the maintenance and gardening. Everyone was so welcoming and we are very proud to be able to contribute to the Trusts’ income. They are truly grateful to everyone at CTL Manufacturing for the fundraising we do for them.”
In addition, CTL Manufacturing are saving and collecting any unwanted Christmas/New Year gifts including chocolates, wines and perfumes in preparation for their annual alternative Christmas raffle during January, in aid of the James Hopkins Trust.
Alpha 3 Manufacturing is delighted to be able to support such compassionate charities who all make an honourable impact.
